Pariscience, the international festival of scientific documentaries, democratizes science by captivating the general public through images and storytelling. Recognizing the changing nature of its audience, including a growing interest from a younger audience in scientific content, Pariscience hired with Fllow to redesign its visual identity through a co-creative sprint.

In order to reinvent Pariscience's graphic expression, we began by focusing on the poster. Whether digital or printed, it will be at the heart of all event communication.

The main visual consists of a mechanism of concentric circles that, as they rotate and expand, transform photographs from scientific imagery (astronomy, biology, geology, etc.) into fractal compositions. Both thought-provoking and mesmerizing, these images echo the fascination that science can inspire while evoking the aspect that unites it with documentary: observation.

This workshop also provided an opportunity to redesign the festival's logo, making it more modern, legible, and better suited for digital use.

Digital

Building upon the visual elements defined during the poster design process, we created a range of physical and digital formats to empower the Pariscience teams in the execution of their communication campaigns.
